I am looking for some help in Putting together a spell list of 1st and 2nd level Bard Spells. I am creating a Dwarven Bard with the Clan Crafter Background. This should be taken into account as he is making his away exploring for new ingredients and recipes. He is a Brewer and a Cook ( 1 from Dwarf and 1 from Background ). Eventually he will be taking the Cook Feat. I mentioned his background because social interaction with farmers, chefs, brewers in other places will be important and may effect a spell or cantrip selection. I am planning on a lore bard in a support role, not a main damage dealer or healer. I would still like to be effective and also true to his background. Thoughts anyone?
For cantrips, prestidigitation is probably a must due to the ability to flavor foods. In general vicious mockery is fun and the only bard damage cantrip, mending is good for interacting with commoners as fixing their stuff creates plenty of good will.

1st level spells not a whole lot speaks to the flavor of your character except perhaps unseen servant for an additional set of hands in the kitchen. detect magic, healing word, faerie fire, dissonant whispers, hideous laughter are all good spells
2nd level Nathair's mischief I think kind of fits with the flavor of your character. Other good spells are Aid, calm emotions, enhance ability, hold person, invisibility, and suggestion. Mirror image is about the only good bard defensive spell for a long while.
Locate Animals or Plants (Level 2) is probably a good ritual fit.
Tasha's Caustic Brew is kinda bad, but goes with the theme.
