Cheerleader Bard

What subclass of Bard do you think would make the best cheerleader.
Which is the best at enhancing and buffing their party?

College of Lore is definitely the best all-around support caster Bard, but College of Glamour is more in line with the idea of hyping up the good guys and capturing the attention of the bad guys.

College of Dance might fit the cheerleader aesthetic better, but it's mechanically it's focused more on unarmed melee combat.

Now i have Jumanji, Dance Fighting specialty on the brain. Great 

Each subclass gives out inspriation that can do different things. The best subclass for that is probably Elequence bard, their inspiration die can be used to add to your saving throws, which is quite powerful.

Theyre in the 2014 rules. Didnt get a do-over in 2024, but i know dms may allow 2014 subclass if they werent redefined in 2024.

They also cant roll less than a 10 on social checks which makes you the smoothest talker in the campaign.

Nothing about them has a "cheerleader" vibe though, but hoooboy are they good support.

Just for the record, all Bards can do that — the base class's Bardic Inspiration feature allows its recipient to add the Bardic Die to a saving throw they roll. What Eloquence adds is the ability for the Bard to force an enemy to subtract the Bardic Die from a saving throw they roll.

Just wondered who is the best Buffer

If you want the super-buff bard build, its probably Glamour. All bards have the base class buff stuff.

but Glamour bards have mantle of inspiration:

"As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die. When you do so, choose a number of other creatures within 60 feet of yourself, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature). Each of those creatures gains a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to two times the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die, and then each can use its Reaction to move up to its Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks."

At level 8, you should have 5 bardic inspiration dice every short rest.

If you want the maximum buff, then probably want to take the Entertainer background for the  Musician  origin feat, and then at level 4 pick up InspiringLeader.

Musician lets you hand out Heroic Inspiration every short rest, not bardic inspiration, HEROIC inspiration. They last forever and let you reroll ANY die.

Inspiring Leader lets you hand out temp hit points equal to your character level plus chamod, every short/long rest. 

Plus Mantle of Inspiration and you're just buffing folks left and right....
