I'm playing a Half Elf Lore Bard in my current campaign (hence the adjusted stats below - great rolls). My role and playstyle in the party is scout / crowd control / battlefield control / party face / supporter. Below is a rough idea of what my Bard will value as he levels up. After finishing this write up I thought others might enjoy looking over it as they plan their Bards. Plus it's fun to nerd out on these types of things... I need to tighten up the spell list as well as determine the ASI / Feat order. And before someone says it, yes this isn't a complete class guide!

Leveled to 3 decided to drop hideous laughter with the addition of suggestion and phantasmal killer for the other 2nd level spell. There aren’t too many int save spells... I’d love blind / deaf but the con save is a little iffy. Probably drop sleep at some point for something like this as most everything else requires concentration.
Did a quick google doc spreadsheet to help me decide on spells to take. This only goes up to spell level 5 for now and includes a rough Magical Secrets look as well.
