So in my current campaign my level 4 bard has been invited to perform for the local Lord, the only issue is that my character's flaw is that she has been known to get in trouble for satirising important people and is likely to do it again.
I was wondering if any of you had any ideas about what to include in a performance and how to actually go about her flaw. She has a lyre and a lute that she is able to play, plus I was thinking of her telling stories of their past adventures while playing matching music. I was also thinking of using minor illusion for sound effects to accompany this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sounds like a great opportunity for fun! Two places I'd suggest for inspiration would be the movie "The Road to El Dorado" and Sam Riegal's Bard "Scanlan Shorthalt" on the D&D show "Critical Role". El Dorado because the two main characters are basically a bard and rogue and have many run-ins with authority and (barely) bluffing their way out of situations, and Scanlan is gets away with murder while being absolutely hilarious!
Other than those, weaving insults towards the lord for comedy purposes would be funny. Nothing too crazy but something tame along the lines of:
- Saying he has no fashion sense, clothes' colour look like they were barfed on, compare him to Bugbears if he wears furs etc - Mention how you're surprised how his wife hasn't left him for his horrible breath (assuming he has a wife) - Maybe even hit on his wife in song, that would rustle him up! - Use minor illusion to create loud sounds directly behind the Lord to startle him while you tell of your tales - Maybe make fart sounds behind him. Often, just to peeve him - If you've dealt with the lord before, during the songs and tales where you would have interacted with him, minor illusion a caricature version of him with silly proportions
What I would try to do is consistently make jokes at his expense where everyone else watching would find funny, but would get old quickly for the lord himself. That way he may look miserable or pissed off but everyone else is having a blast. That makes you look great to the people and he may have to sit there and take it but be super angry at you during the performance!
Hope some of this helps!
