How many spells do you know? Like the thing says you know (Example: Lvl 7) 10 spells and 3 cantrips. The spells you know: 4 lvl 1, 3 lvl 2, 3 lvl 3, 1 lvl 4... That makes 11 right?
The amount of spell known for a bard is determined by the value you read on the column Spell Known. Those you count on the last columns are the spell slots, which determine the amount of spell you can cast per level before a long rest. Spell Known and Spell Slots do not coincide.

Ah so you _know_ eleven spells, but can _cast_ ten. Like that?
Along with Sorcerers Warlocks and Bards have a very limited pool to choose from when it comes to what they can cast due to spells known being unchangeable. ( in terms of re-preparing spells in the morning as druids clerics and wizards) Choose the spells you do know wisely and make sure when you can change one out as the class description allows you leave yourself one of every level or it can be a real facepalm moment.
Enjoy the musical interlude and the game in general!

The Bard Table shows that you know 10 spells, and you can cast 11 spells per long rest, with level distribution shown in the table.
Ah okay. I get it now. Thank you:)
