I have been playing rpg for many years as I started in D&D red box and moved up. I did not like 4th so I switched to pathfinder for many years. Recently my son wanted to host a game as a DM/GM and so we started a 5e game and I have been enjoying it so far. I have made a Bard2/Hex Lock 1 and he is growing with time even though I only plain to take 2 levels in Lock. I know when my Bard (collage of swords) side gets to level 4 I will be able to take a feat instead of ability score but I am devided on 2 diffrent feats to take. My Bard is based off Errol Flynn's Don Juan. My stats are S10,D15,C14,I8,W12,C17. Since I am a 1/2 elf I was thinking of going Elven Accuracy since it gives a +1 chr with the bost on advantage, but I was also thinking of taking the mobility feat as I would be able to zip around the battle feild and if I attack I would have a speed of 50' and could get away with him attacking. What do you all think would be the better choice since the Fight, Cleric and Sor do not use any battle feild control. Any ideas are welcomed.
P.S. I plain to get damage and push back on the Eldrics blast when I level the lock to 2 but after Bard 4.
It has been a little while since you posted, but wanted to say I think Elven Accuracy sounds like a cool feat for a Barlock Hexblade. It basically gives you a luck point on every advantage attack you make, since hex warrior makes your weapon use charisma instead of strength or dexterity. Only issue I would have is how often do you get advantage on attacks. Still more chances for Nat 20s is great.
