So my party just finished half of the plot, killing a load of pirates etc. We are now level 5 and I would like you to review my bard. My party is made up of: a half orc zealot barb, a dreams druid, me and a Vastaya (homebrew race) gloomstalker. I am the face of the party, and the smart one. I play the role of ranged attacker with spells, while the druid is about cc, healing and defense. Here is the link (I have find familiar, as my DM said I can, but it's not on there):
Nice character, I like the fae elements to the character, could just as easily been a Glamour bard, but Lore is all around very competent. I see a lot of utility spells like Leomund's Tiny Hut and Animel Messenger. Do you mostly use Fire Bolt in combat? It kinda sucks that it's an Int based roll, but I guess you're not a main damage dealer. That is a very nice magical staff there. Is it homebrew?

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Thanks a lot. I chose lore as I wanted to get magical secrets early, and the expertise in arcana and persuasion because no-one else has an intelligence or charisma higher than +1 modifier. Yes, I mostly use firebolt. Once I get magical secrets, I'll probably take a good ranged spell. My intelligence is 15, so I'm good on firebolt. And yes, the staff is homebrew. My DM is very nice with common and uncommon magic items. The ranger has a dragon slayer sword, but that is because we could have fought it, and might have died. But we bargained with it.

Also, I want to ask about my magical secrets. I'm going to take misty step, as it has some really useful properties. What spell should I take as well? I want a 2nd or 3rd spell that deals damage, preferably with a long range. Also, should I swap out one of my third level spells for tiny servant? We are definitely allowed UA. I like the idea, and it fits the background and theme of my character.

The premier damaging spell at that level would be Fireball, which would be a nice upgrade to Fire Bolt. If you wanted something possibly more efficient, both Call Lightning and Conjure Animals could give you more bang for your spell slot since they last longer and can give you an option you can use again and again.

I'm not a big fan of that spell, but if it fits your character, go for it.

Do you think I should swap it with major image or leomunds tiny hut?

I don't know! They're both so useful! I guess Major Image is more thematic, so switch out Tiny Hut?
