I think I figured out how to squeeze out some more damage for Shadow Blade, you'd need the multiclassing minimums for this build, which isnt too bad since two of the classes share an ability score.
You start as Shadow Sorcerer , the reason I picked this is that it feels thematically appropriate with Shadow Blade but mainly for the proficiency with constitution saving throws to maintain concentration, you take it to level 3(Warlock or Wizard 3 works too) for Shadow Blade and metamagic as a bonus.
After that you take 3 levels Hunter Ranger for either Colossus Slayer for the extra D8 when enemy is under max HP or Horde Breaker for the additional attack.
This is where it gets good and why I put it in here, You take 14 levels of Zeal Cleric for the Priest of Zeal feature that gives you a single bonus action weapon attack a number of times equal to Wisdom modifier per day and the Divine Strike feature which adds an extra D8 at level 8 and 2D8 at 14 of the same damage type dealt by the weapon to the target.
Combine all that with Glyph warding by making a spell glyph of haste(which you can do by being a Zeal Domain Cleric) allowing you to attack at least twice with shadow blade, three times with the zeal priest feature, four if you go horde breaker, with potentially 7D8 (with hordebreaker)or 8D8(Colossus Slayer).
You can delay the Hunter levels to after Cleric 8 or 14, if you are focused on boosting the damage itself instead of gaining an additional attack at 6.
A 3-level dip in two classes is a bad idea. In 20 levels, you’ll only get 2 asi. Three levels in ranger for an extra d8 seems like a waste, when you could just stick with one of the other classes and get a level 6 power.
Zeal cleric is homebrew, which usually means it’s overpowered, so I don’t even know what to tell you about that. But if you’re looking for two attacks a round, take 5 in ranger (or fighter even).
This build is far too MAD to function. You need CHA, WIS, and DEX 13 just to build it. I don't know what a zeal cleric is, but the best build I've seen for something like this thematically is just building a pure Arcana Cleric around Booming Blade + Shillelagh.

Tell me what you think of this build idea.

You both have solid Points, The other route I was thinking intially was just Sorcerer or Wizard 6 and War cleric 14.
I guess I was just too focused on maximizing the damage output of Shadow Blade that I didnt think about the ASI loss, Back to the Drawing board then.
