I play a Dwarven Forge cleric (lvl 4); in one on my sessions, we had one of our work buddies come in as a guest to the story and played a cleric as well. At the end on a battle with mushroom zombie things, he used Harness Divine Power and got a spell slot back. I was very surprised and looked through my DnD character page (I bought Tasha's fyi) and couldn't find it in my channel divinity section. He's a DM god, and swears up and down that every cleric uses it, and from what I've read on it, that's true. But I can't seem to get it on my character. Do Forge domain clerics not use it or is my character not good enough to regain spell slots?

Harness divine power is an optional feature, as your DM allows it do the following on your DnD beyond character sheet:
You may also want to ask if you can use the other optional features (for example you can get a few extra spells available to you)
