So I am currently playing with a Firbolg Life domain cleric at level 2 that has the following stats:
STR 16 DEX 15 CON 16 INT 15 WIS 18 CHA 10 (I rolled pretty nice thankfully)
My party consists mainly of spellcasters except for a warforged rogue and a tortle monk, so I am planning on being a tank/support with some amount of melee damage as well. So in terms of feats, I narrowed down to War Caster, Resilient, and Heavy Armor Master. The main issue here is that all the ability scores I want to increase are already at even numbers. And I am unclear as to when I would be able to afford/find heavy armor. I also read on many other threads that maxing out WIS is a smart thing to do. Lastly, I'm not fully sure if my dm will continue the campaign past level 9 for our characters, which limits ASI/feats opportunities. With that being said, what ASI/feat would you recommend for me when I reach level 4?
I will answer any additional information you need in the comments. Thank you in advance!
With those stats and assuming the campaign ends at 9, I wouldn't bother with ASIs. I'd suggest War Caster at 4, which will best improve your tank role.
War Caster, and Tough are my top 2 recommendations, though I'd never leave out maxing out your score, even if you only go to level 9 -- it just moves down the priority list.
Get Alert Feat, which it grants you advantage of not being surprised, plus the bonus on Iniciative. I wonder if the benefit of "" you cannot be surprised while you are being attacked "" it helps more while you need to heal anyone on the midst of a threatening attack.
Or else, if this feat dosen't fits it fine, then try Shield Master feat.

This is why I encourage point buy. Because someone else (perhaps multiple people) will have a spread of 16, 14, 13, 10, 10, 8 and gets their main stat solid, secondary ok, then straight trash saves and no choice but to dump.
Sorry, I'll get back on topic...
War Caster is a definite number one pick!
Next: already mentioned, Shield Master is very useful as long as you remember you have it. If you're looking for a little more "peel enemies off back line", positioning well with Sentinel can really pay off. Finally, everybody's favorite feat that isn't often used but unanimously agreed to be always reliable, Lucky.

I’d also say warcaster. And I’m personally not a fan of HAM. It can be ok at low levels, but it’s value gets lower as you progress.

My Ready-to-rock&roll chars:
Dertinus Tristany // Amilcar Barca // Vicenç Sacrarius // Oriol Deulofeu // Grovtuk
