hi i want to make sure i'm doing the custom actions right on my character sheet
i am a lvl 8 war cleric with +3 wisdom (17)
i have a quarterstaff+1 and a shield
i cast shillelagh first round, and i can now attack with +7 to hit and 1d10+4
next turn i can attack, and then also do my bonus pole strike. is the pole strike also a +7 to hit, and then i would do 1d4+4 right?
and on each of these, because i'm doing polearm master and weapon mastery quarterstaff, that will give me two chances per turn to topple a guy right
All of this is correct. If you took the Divine Strike option at level 7 for Blessed Strikes, you will also be adding 1d8 radiant or necrotic damage on your first hit, whether that is with your Attack action or bonus action Pole Strike.
Divine strike only applies to attacks on your turns. Which saddens me and also makes calculating damage annoying since you are rolling it or not rolling it depending on context.
"Divine Strike. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with an attack roll using a weapon, you can cause the target to take an extra 1d8 Necrotic or Radiant damage (your choice)."
War domain Clerics should have access to the True Strike cantrip, radiant damage and insight in combat is so war domain. Well my 2cents on it anyways ...

I think all Clerics should be able to get True Strike, honestly. They are better casters than martials in general, so the focus on Wisdom as a martial gish would be really nice for those subclasses that don't get extra attack.
