According to this feature, we apply our Wis mod bonus to Arcana OR Religion. However in DND Beyond the bonus is applied to both. Is this a bug or bad wording?
It was meant to work on both, not to be a feature that you make a choice on.
It is slightly ambiguous wording. It seems the intent is that whenever you make an Arcana or Religion check, you add the bonus.
There are other features which say "choose one of X" where it's intended to apply to only one of them. Since this lacks that language, the bonus applies to both.
