Darkvision (which is offered by various species, but also by the Twilight Domain subclass) will allow you to see through most magical darkness.
The darkness created by the Darkness spell is a notable exception as it explicitly says Darkvision can't see through it. One fairly common way to get around this is to multiclass into Warlock enough to get the "Devil's Sight" Eldritch Invocation. Another would be to multiclass into a class that provides a Fighting Style feat and take "Blind Fighting", though the Blindsight granted by this feat has a very limited range (10 feet).
What is the best way to make a cleric capable of seeing in magical darkness?
