I'm playing a Wildfire spirit for the first time, and it's weird how I am so used to the dice rolling in the page that not having it for this one attack is throwing me off. Since we're about four months out from Tasha's release, I'm guessing this isn't going to be added to character sheets for Wildfire Druids. I'm looking to homebrew a way to add it to the sheet. What is the recommended way to do this?
I'm thinking of making a custom weapon attack action, but it doesn't seem to want to play nicely even with hard coding the values in. It seems I can get either the +Prof on damage or the +Spell Attack on the roll, but I can't get both to work at the same time.
I had this same issue a few months ago when I tried to make a custom attack for my drakewarden ranger’s drake and ended up with the same headache. I ultimately ended up just adding it in on roll20 which has more sensible workarounds for this kind of thing, but I have no solutions for the fire spirit that my other druid has since we don’t use roll20. I just roll the dice regularly and add the pb damage when I remember to, sorry to say.
You can create a homebrew wildfire spirit monster with the appropriate stats/attacks/abilities and add it on the extras page as a summoned creature. You can then make rolls from the monster's sheet. You will need to alter the creatures stats or create a new creature every time the scaling stats change. It's the same procedure that can be used for summon beast/fey creatures. If you look in the homebrew monsters section there are community created options you can add to your collection. Just be aware that a few weeks ago they cleared out all the publicly shared bestial spirit homebrews for copyright violation and I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same sometime soon for wildfire spirit. If you add one it would probably be a good idea to make a copy as they don't clear out your own homebrew creations.

add this homebrew to your "collection" and then customize as you need based on your level

How can I do that?
I see only a button "Add to My Collection" or "Remove from my collection", clicking on it has no effect for adding it to my homebrew contents.
It seems only my slef-created contents will be added to my collection. what is wrong there?
