TL;DR - I’m intimidated by wildshape. Is it hard for newer players?
Hi all! My DM let me know that he is planning on setting up a scenario where my character gets taken back to her father in Hellllllll… so he wanted me to make a temporary character to help out and I have some ideas. I just need some advice!
Enter Wayne Marshman. Should have been a barbarian. He’s huge, talks like an ex-marine and smokes cigars. But he’s a druid 😆 and has a pet fox named Jackass, because it never helps out and wants attention.
I’ve never played a character that can shapechange so I was thinking of Wildfire? I guess? It’s set in Chult, so I was kind of thinking he’s an ex-soldier or pirate who ended up running out of smoking leaf and had to make do. After trying anything that might do the trick, ended up with some “enlightening” plants and had a revelation.
Ta-daaaa, Wayne Marshman.
