Hi so I have a Circle of Spores Druid, she's a satyr, and I'm wanting to possibly multiclass. What would be a good suggestion. I'm leaning towards monk to help boost AC. Though if I do multiclass into monk I'm not sure about the subclass. My DM recommended Way of the Mercy monk, because we don't have and experienced healers in the party (our cleric is a first time player playing Trickery Domain). To preface I tend to learn more into the healing role, and burn spell slots to heal my fellow party members . I'm still on the fence on the subclass to take. What would any of you recommend, I am open to different options.
Druid to Monk is, IMO an excellent fit and Way of Mercy, given your normal role is a perfect fit. You can restore some HP as needed and as you advance, clear some annoying conditions normally reserved for the Restoration spells, without burning a spell slot. Short rests will refresh your Ki to allow for a more ready at hand heal/cure of conditions and the Monk's AC bump and melee combat abilities are a wonderful surprise for the enemy that bashes your OUT of Wild Shape, only to discover the humanoid form is as dangerous (likely more) than the animal they were facing.
My personal take on the Monk subclasses is that Open Hand is the best skirmisher for all the melee dealings, Mercy is best for a support role. Since you seem to be more a support role in your party, I think the Mercy path is what will serve you best as well as fit well thematically with what your character is already doing.
For reference, Cleric and Ranger also MC well with Druid obviously and if your Dex is high enough, Rogue can offer some escape/mitigation options as well for when you end up too close to the fray. If you have enough Int or Cha, you could also consider Wizard or Sorcerer to pick up Shield, which is a burst AC boost (or Bladesinger Wizard for that perk) and stay full caster. Lots of options, but my personal favorite, based on your post, is still a Mercy Monk.

Life Domain Cleric is an excellent multiclass option with Druid if you want to be a healer. Immediately after 1 level of it, your Goodberries each heal 2hp more.

Just be careful with monk. Natural weapons are not unarmed strikes or monk weapons.
Thank you
I have a quarter staff that I use for melee attacks.
