I’m having issues creating this character on D&D Beyond. Specifically adding the Harengon race features to the Reborn. Example adding “Rabbit Hop, Hare-Trigger, Leporine Senses and Lucky Footwork.
I don't have Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft so I had to look up the Reborn lineage through another source. But if what I found its accurate what you get to keep from the Harengon race are just your movement speeds and skill proficiencies, you do not keep any other traits from your previous race.
In the case of Harengon you keep your 30ft walking speed and your proficiency in Perception.
If you(or someone else) has Van Richten's please double check this, but that is how I understand the Reborn lineage to work.

Yup you are correct. You can also keep languages as well.
Thank you guys for the response. But in this case I am trying to make a home brew that gives the character the ability to gain the harengons traits on top of the reborn. But I can’t figure out how to either make them feats or spells so I can add them to my character sheet so they automatically work.
Again, you're asking for homebrew. I don't use the homebrew editor extensively, but you can make races. Starting with a copy of the race that has most of the features that you want and then adding the others that you need is probably the route to go.
But why? Are all of the other players in your group homebrewing races to such a degree?

Did you build a new race in the homebrew editor?

Thanks for the info it more of a flavor thing due to it being a harrengon reborn not a “human reborn”
Always remember, flavor is free.
Doubling up on racial mechanics, however...
True thanks for the response
