Hello, I am about to hit 9th level in moon druid, do you people have any good Cr3 beasts to transform into? As long as its official i can transform into it, any book is good.
Also if you have any great Cr2 beasts you think are good let me know.

"Anyone can smith at the cosmic anvil, yet only I can forge a weapon as good as thee."
There are some pretty interesting options at CR 3. Giant scorpion is good for combat versatility given the decent AC, auto grapples and high DPR if the target's poison save fails. Bristled moorbounders have speed, super jumps, and consistent DPR. Amphisbaena can auto-restrain any size creature if either of their two attacks hit and have better DPR than a giant constrictor snake. Killer Whales are good if you're fighting in water. Giant Snapping turtles have the highest AC at 17. Giant Lightning eels have an AOE ability that does lightning damage and can stun everyone in a 30ft diameter if you're in water or target one creature if you're out of water.
Ah, I see why I didn't find it. You asked about CR 3. I don't know how you decide that was better than a giant snapping turtle for health. 4 more points of AC WAY more than make up for 1 HP.

Giant Scorpion is probably your best option.

I don't see relic sloth in the official material. is that some sort of slang?

If you're just going to disagree with people's suggestions, why even ask for their opinion?
