I'm playing a Circle of Stars druid and wanted people's opinion on how the Circle of Stars - Twinkling Constellation feature works, specifically the second part.
Moreover, at the start of each of your turns while in your Starry Form, you can change which constellation glimmers on your body
Should this change use up a wild shape charge (as a free action) or as the character is already in the starry form it doesn't use up the charge?
I do not think it would, or should, eat another use of WildShape.
It is an improvement on the function presumably because you're getting used to or better at utilizing it. Many other WildShape features do specify if it eats up another use of Wild Shape, and since this one does not, it is not itended to do so.
Yep, no charge. You use Wild Shape to enter your Constellation Form (which does use 1 wild shape charge, obviously), and then every single round for the next 10 minutes, you can swap between Archer, Chalice, and Dragon for free :)
