Do I choose an official Wild Shape or a certain number of wild shapes, or can I Wild Shape into anything that fits the requirements?
I'm planning on playing a Moon Druid. So for example, say I'm level 6 and can become a CR 2 beast. At level 6, is there a number of certain animals I can be, or can I wild shape into any beast with CR 2 or lower with no flying speed and have free choice of those options?
Question 1: I think the general concensus is that you can wildshape into whatever animal you want with the limitations that you should have knowledge of it (have seen it or be otherwise familiar with it). You don't have to choose before you use the wildshape, so free choice with every use.
Question 2: Those 4 are the only elementals that elemental wildshape lets you choose from. You can't change into other elementals with it.

Moon druids have a wild shape option for elementals. Does this mean any fire, water, earth, or air elementals or specifically these 4 options: Fire Elemental, Earth Elemental, Water Elemental, and Air Elemental?
