my current dnd character is a moon druid and since I'm pretty new to dnd, i have no idea what feat i should choose. my character uses a mix of wild shape and various ranged spells. she has -1 con (terrible) and is mainly in the thick of the combat, i was thinking war caster but i haven't heard great things about it.
Resilient con If you have 9 con. It'll help you not die and keep your concentration. Otherwise war caster is good die the same reason. Alternatively, you could just put two points in con or wisdom
All of the half-feats are also a good idea if your wisdom score is odd. If you have an even Wis, half-feats aren't so tempting, but if you have access to it, Fey Touched gives access to spells you wouldn't normally. It gives you a +1 to a mental stat of your choice, a level 1 divination or enchantment spell, and misty step. Misty step is one of the most useful spells in the game, and it can help you get out of the thick of things when your Wild Shape runs out.
As a druid you usually want to have a concentration spell up in combatwhether it is control spell (e.g. Entangle) a damage spell like moonbeam or a summoned creature so obviously you want to keep concentration I would strongly recommend either warcaster or resilient con, the question is which? You might end up eventually having both. Here is a comparison.
Warcasters advantage is the equivalent of +5 if you need a natural 11 and less that for anything else, on average I think it is roughly the equivalent t oa +4. At low levels resilent con gives you a smaller bonus but at high levels it gives more.
I suspect as a moon druid you will not have an issue with needing a free hand to cast your spells unless I am wrong you will see little benefit of this feature of warcaster
Being able to cast a spell as an op attack might be very useful if/when you reach level 18, before then you probably don't want to be in the thick of combat when not in wildshape so will rarely get op attacks
Resilient con gives you a boost for all con saves, a lot of spells require con saves as do things like avoiding poison and exhaustion
Whether the +1 con helps depend on whether your con (in and out of wildshape) is odd or even, if your con is currently even it depends on your other stats and choice of feats. For example if your Wisdom is odd at your next ASI you could bump both your Con and Wis.
Overall I think it you are taking a feat at level 1 go for warcaster, at level 8 or higher go for resilient, at 4 it is more of a toss up, I would probably go resilient if I think the campaign will be a long one otherwise warcaster.
You do need a feat that gives +1 CON because yours is so low, so resilient. Normally, I'd say fey touched for Gift of Alacrity for initiative and misty step.
Does anyone know if the Savage Attacker feat still works in Wild Shape for 2024? Or to phrase the question differently, do claws still count as "natural weapons" (and therefore benefit from bonuses that apply to weapon attacks)?

note- my dm banned the lucky feat
Are you playing with the 2014 PHB or the 2024? Because banning the Lucky feat sounds like it's 2014 (the Lucky feat in 2024 is not that good). So depending on which PHB I'd say the suggestions would also change.

What level are you?

I like Telepathic. Gets past your beast form's inability to speak.
