One of the spells that is listed that we can use in Wild Shape is Starry Wisp at level 1. What is the druid already has Starry Wisp as a cantrip? Must it be cast as a level 1 spell while in Wild Shape?
I believe the Druid can now change a known cantrip when they level up, so they should be able to swap their original Starry Wisp for another cantrip and regain Starry Wisp as a circle spell.
It should be cast as a normal cantrip in Wild Shape: there’s nothing in the class description that indicates that it is cast as a level 1 spell. It should also increase the number of damage dice when you gain certain levels, as per the spell description.
It’s a cantrip, so it doesn’t use a spell slot. And, yes, once you have access to Wild Shapes with a flying speed, you can still cast it while Wildshaped and flying.
So eventually in an aerial form the druid could cast Starry Wisp each turn without eating up a spell slot?
consider cantrips level 0 spells ,they never cost you a spell slot. Anything higher will cost a spell slot unless you have a feature that removes that restriction.
