Hi, New D&D player I got a question on Cantrips vs prepared spells. The way I read it is you can change you prepared spells with a long rest, but you "stuck" with the cantrips you pick?
Also you get a 3rd cantrip at level 3 if you pick a land circle? and the D&D Beyond character creator is broken on this?
According to the rules, druids pick Cantrips and can never change them, but they can add more as they increase in level. But a lot of DMs allow spell casters to swap out Cantrips when they go up in level.
Also, if you're playing in games under Adventurers League rules, you can reconfigure your character's choice until level 5. They don't want players who are new to D&D (or maybe just new to a particular class, subclass, race etc.) to feel like they wrecked their character by making bad decisions before they had a chance to get familiar with how their choices play out in practice. So if you're playing under that system, you're free to change your cantrip choices up until you hit level 5.

I just figured out how to add the third cantrip
