Druids get lots of concentration spells at higher levels so be sure to have a look at the War Caster feat as well. If you have the supporting proficiencies, the Observant feat could be fun.

Thanks for reminding me of Warcaster. It seems that every post I read about this prefers Resillience: CON over Warcaster for some reason. They seem to be doing about the same?
What your race? how many langauge you know do they match with your target?
if your total dex 13 i would take +1wis +1 dex. Usefull of observant gonna depend on your DM campaing and you knowing your target language (this doesn't matter if in the world everything speaks commen) and if your DM uses passive checks.
obervant handy for spying getting out information while resielient a defense upgrade in con saves. depend which one speaks more to you and the DM campaing.

I can see where you are going with this. I am a Firbolg and as such I have a massive frame. I was wondering if the lipreading could be used with wildshape, though, so I could potentially be a itty bitty spider and sit in a corner and just absorb the entire plan of the ewol master :-)
My dex is pretty shite, but that is ok, I guess, due to shapes being a possibility. My dex doesn't carry over when I wildshape.
yeah it could be used that way, I would ask your DM about lipreading in an animal form just not get nastry surprise he/she doesn't allow it, but normally it should be fine.

Mathematically proficiency in CON is better for concentration checks than advantage. The key is that advantage only tends to increase your average roll by 3.325 but does not increase the maximum roll you can get. Proficiency does increase the max and minimum roll and so increases the average by exactly your proficiency modifier. So a proficiency of +4 will always be better than advantage and +3 can be better if the Resilient feat increases your CON modifier.
Edit: The other benefit I forgot is that Resilient (CON) improves all of your CON saves but War Caster is specifically Concentration saves only.

Thanks a bunch for clearing that up for me! That actually is, really helpful in deciding which way to go.
Everyone says that Advantage on checks is effectively a +5 bonus and the Warcaster feat gives advantage on concentration checks to maintain spells plus some other advantages. The Resilient feat gives you a +1 to your Constitution and it also gives you your Proficiency Bonus on all Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws, including Concentration checks. So at lower levels Warcaster gives you a higher bonus on your Concentration checks and at higher levels Resilient (Constitution) gives you a higher bonus on your Concentration checks. They're both great, but for you because your Constitution score is an even number I'd tend to lean towards Warcaster instead of Resilient.
I'd suggest Resilient CON at level 4 and +1 WIS/CON at level 8. Druids get really nice concentration spells at level 5 that you don't want to lose early.

But boost Con if I am mostly chugging around in a high Con beast shape? Although looking at Keyleth fro Vox Machina in season 1 of Critical Role on Youtube, I get the feeling that the animal shapes will be farther and farther apart and that I will get to spend a majority of my time in caster/ human (well, Firbolg) form.
At 5th level I'm finding myself in humanoid form more and more, though my experience may be somewhat unique. My group has ended up in this weird place where we've got a whole bunch of pets running around and the DM has had to compensate by throwing larger groups of enemies at us. The low ACs of the animal form mean that if I'm not careful I just get ripped to shreds before I can do much, so I've had to be quite a bit more calculating and make sure the battle field is split up in such a way that I can move without getting attacked half a dozen times as soon as I go in to wildshape. (I have on more than one occasion been knocked out of wild shape in the same turn I used it).
In my situation Jesse_DND's comments are spot on. The concentration is totally worth it as are the extra HPs.

However you want to do it, it's very helpful to get a boost to concentration saving throws either through Resilient CON or War Caster, especially since you'll be spending time in melee range while in wild shape. So War Caster at level 4 and Observant at level 8 is also a good choice.

I hear ya! Thanks for replying, bud! Much appreciated.
Advantage (warcaster) or proficiency (CON) on concentration checks depends on the the level of proficiency and the amount of damage you are taking. Go to https://anydice.com/program/13f13 Edit with your CON bonus and proficiency bonus, press calculate, graph, and "at least".
In my case, with proficiency bonus of +2, con bonus of +3, advantage works better unti a DC of 22 (which is 44 points of damage). At DC=10 (20 points of damage), advantage is 91% and proficiency is 80%.
The question to ask before you take the War Caster feat is whether you will be leaning heavily on the Great Tree version of the guardian of nature spell. I do with my druid, and since it gives advantage on Constitution saving throws, not having War Caster has not been a big deal for me.

Thanks for your answer! given that I am still only lvl 3, that spell is a little ways off still. But, you are right in that the choice made at lvl 4 will need to be influenced by what other choices are to be made later on and what other options form for example spells are available later on. Boy, there is a lot to plan for if you want to not end up wasting some options.
Other things to think about is your con proficiency will carry over into wild shape and is a common save for stuff like poison, poison damage, cold damage and other stuff like necrotic, radiant, blindness, and other stuff and war caster only lets you get advantage on for spells when you take damage (so doesn't work on stuff like sleet storm which will have a spell caster dc or in times of hecticness like if in some storms or rocking ships or the like).
On the other hand war caster also lets you have a weapon and shield(or another weapon) in your hands and still cast spells and it also lets you use a spell as a reaction attack instead of flailing possibly horribly with a kick or punch or with the weapon in your hand that means you can't have a shield.
Just keep in mind the other things too.
Also, you might look at mobile for later levels if you are wildshaping a lot at higher levels and the dm says it carries over because you can attack and leave that space without taking opportunity attacks. It also gives an extra 10ft of movement but don't think that would carry over but the other half might though I would wait til you are a higher level and know if in wild shape enough to make it worth it and only as long as part of your job isn't to tank hits for squishier members of your team.

Hi all!
I am at that spot where I have to choose as the headline says. Am a Circle of Moon druid, lvl 3
Important stats are: WIS: 17, CON: 14 (We used standard array)
Currently I am thinking the choice is between: buffing WIS with one by going "Observant" (Feat) and then picking the final 2 WIS points at lvl 8.
The alternative is: Resillient: CON (Feat)
But, man, I can't decide!
Hope you can help.
