Hi, I have never played before but starting a campaign on the weekend so I have been planning my Character. I am going to be a Wood Elf Druid, whilst reading the PHB, it states that as a Wood Elf you get to choose 1 wizard cantrip. At level 1 as a druid you get to have two druid cantrips. Does that mean I can have 3 cantrips in total, or still 2 but one of them can be a wizard one?

Ack my bad, I think I misread it, it's the High Elf that gets that.
Something to remember if you go that route; the wizard cantrip will use INT as a casting stat rather than WIS. That will be important for /most/ combat spells because your to-hit or your save DC will be lower. if you use it to take a utility cantrip, it's no worries at all.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Three total and one and to be a wizard cantrip. Which could be awesome!

Note that High Elf is the sub race that allows you to choose 1 wizard cantrip.
