Between the conjuring of some Giant Wolf Spiders in a critical battle (DM's choice of creature) and a great series of dice rolls in Saber-Tooth Tiger wildshape, was a good night to be a druid!
Pounce worked well, dragging down a key enemy and providing some extra attacks. It's fun when it all works as is capable.
I have to admit, having the unknown element (DM choosing the beasts) adds to the game....really enjoyed it...almost like playing a new character....Cast my conjure spell and "streaks of light" coalesce into shapes....EEEWWW! Huge Spiders....getting to look up their stats, abilities etc. Good times. They delayed the enemy, inflicted damage, and even paralysed a few with their poison.

Sounds like a fun night.
