I am new to D&D. I am a level 6 Dwarf Fighter with a Champion Archetype. I chose superior technique, but it won't allow me to pick Commander's Strike as my option,,
1. Does DDB show you options to pick for the Superior Technique fighting style? I don't get any. 2. If there are options lacking on any list on DDB, it is because you don't possess the corresponding source book. Of course you are allowed to choose Commander's Strike. 3. I wouldn't pick ST on a fighter who is not a Battle Master, one d6 per rest is just not worth it. (Except you play in a campaign where combat is rare).
Commander’s Strike is quite bad. It requires a superiority die, your bonus action, your ally reaction and if your ally doesn’t hit, you wasted a lot of resources.
