When does it gain access to 'seeking arrow' (the one that is basically a magic-missle arrow and never misses)
I realize it has limits, and whatnot, but I'm wanting to create an archer character, that has access to this skill, but Xanathars doesn't tell me what level I gain access to it at, or if I get it as an option upon reaching 3rd level (as it places it behind stuff that has levels)
Essentially if possible, I want to create a ranger with a subclass of fighter, if possible, and I want the seeking arrow mainly for Finishers, or "Oh shoot the good guys are winning, better run away!" *arrow*
Or if subclasses dont get thier archetypes, a fighter with this ability, with a subclass of ranger.

Occassional Dungeon Master.
You can choose "seeking arrow" as one of your two options at 3rd level, after you choose Arcane Archer as your fighter archtype.
All of the shot options are listed after the level enhancements as I recall.
You would have to multiclass fighter with ranger for your desired build I believe, or homebrew a new subclass.
Perpetually annoyed that Eldritch Knights can't use Eldritch Blast, Eldritch Smite, and Eldritch Sight.
