Level 4 BM. Should I take GWM at lv4 or PAM? I like the extra +10 damage I can get with precision attack and trip attack. But the extra reach and Bonus action attack provide 2 attack oppertunies.
If you're settled on the idea of using a glaive your whole career, then starting with PAM is a good idea. It's technically more consistent damage that makes good use of your bonus action and reaction, whereas GWM can be more situational, especially more so at lvl 4.
I personally would start with GWM just because it's my favorite feat and the excitement of that +10 damage makes it worth it for me. Though, whichever you don't take, I'd say take it at lvl 6, and then increase STR to 18 at lvl 8. This also opens up the possiblity of landing a belt in the meantime so you don't even need to take an ASI to STR when you get to 8, and pick up another feat like sentinel.
I did take GWM to start then started having second gesses lol. Yea it appears my glaive is going to have an important part of the dms campaign so looks like I will using it awhile unless stolen or lost with seems very possible. May need to move to warlock to try and prevent that. Probably should have take eldrich knight at 3rd but took battle master instead.
I wouldn't recommend dipping warlock just to prevent a loss of a weapon. If you lose it, it's probably because your DM wants to do something storywise with that. Just build and play smart.
Fighter, to me, is one of those jobs that you won't want to multiclass. Many campaigns end around lvl 11 or 12, something like that. If you dip even just one or two levels into warlock, you'll never access your triple attacks. At that point, a fighter's features become less prominent in comparison to other martials that have two attacks for their whole career.

True, but was something I was thinking about
