It is part of the Monk archetype... their training leads them to be highly focused and self-discipline. None of the main Ability Scores seem to reflect this self-discipline however... where would you see it placed? Wisdom? Intelligence? Which existing Skill do you think it is closest to?
If I had to pick one of the 5 Ability Scores, id pick Wisdom.
For me, the description of what Wisdom represents, "Wisdom reflects how attuned you are to the world around you and represents perceptiveness and intuition.", tells me that this would be the closest score that talks about self-discipline. Also keep in mind that Insight is a Wisdom score as well, and this primarily talks about: "Your Wisdom (Insight) check decides whether you can determine the true intentions of a creature, such as when searching out a lie or predicting someone’s next move."
When I think about my real life ability to be highly focused on a task and have the self-discipline to complete said task above all else, I would have to look within myself and understand my strengths and weaknesses in order to execute said task. In particular, when working from home I know that I have the penchant to get up and wander in to the kitchen to grab some snacks constantly and interrupting my workflow. So, because I know that, I have a few snacks I keep in my office so I can simply reach and grab something and continue working. By that same token, if I need to focus on getting something done, I need to put on some music to drown out other noises around my house so I dont constantly look up from what im doing. All this is, to me, a direct correlation to monk class discipline.
Intelligence gives me the ability to notice things, but not act on them, wisdom provides me the mental strength to actually act on these insights.
