if i am a monk and take the Martial Adept feat and then the Unarmed Fighting maneuver, would i add both the dexterity and strength modifiers to the total damage?

Martial Adept: You learn two maneuvers of your choice from among those available to the Battle Master archetype in the fighter class.

Unarmed Fighting: Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier on a hit.

hehehe... Unfortunately, no.

The monk allows the choice of using dexterity instead of strength for unarmed attacks, while the fighter allows only strength. You must necessarily choose one of the two options and not both. And the same goes for the martial arts die and the Unarmed Fighting Style.

 It would be nice.

I assume you meant the Fighting Initiate feat to get the unarmed fighting style. And as the others have said, you don’t get both unfortunately.
