Im hoping they also add mastery for unarmed attacks as well so that they wont become useless in the face of weapon masteries. Maybe some thing unique for unarmed attacks for monk like how fighters get extra stuff with weapons .

As part of the warrior group monks will also have access to the weapon masteries with monk weapons, I assume. And monks already can do something no one else can do with unarmed strikes via martial arts so I don’t know if they will have “something special” or not. We can hope so but I wouldn’t hold my breath. The additions of shove/grapple as part of unarmed strikes is already a big win for monk.

Maybe they will do what they did for light weapons and change it so that the shove/grapple is a mastery and not a normal part of unarmed strikes. 

I'd like for all the martials to have something like Martial Dice. And for monks to have some specific ki flavored one generally only available to them.
