I would like to point out that no Half elf's are not immune to being charmed. You have advantage on saving throws against it but can still be charmed.
You are right advantage still is huge . Also i csn cast protecyion from evil and good just if i see some caster but mosly are demons in this campaign im guessing there arent many charms hazzards . I think devotion could fit much better in a curse of strahd campaign.
I'd actually never recommend durable as a feat ever. Resilient Constitution is far more important to a Paladin that wants to be a tank than that.
Why? Durable seems like it has better long term benefits.
Durable's usefulness depends on how often you get to use a short rest. You may end up in a campaign where you only short rest never! Res Con, however, is useful more frequently. Better concentration checks and better saving throws. Durable would be a better choice in a campaign that uses gritty realism, though, but even then it's still debatable.

Resilent con by far the best choice for first feat as a tank
Demons and Devils actually carry alot of Charm and frighten Spell.
Curse of Strhad and Decent into Avernous make the Devotion Paladin shine as everything it has is designed to combat fiends and undead.
It pretty tough choice between devotion and watchers . Rolplaying will come first but on the stats aside as a channel divinity sacred weapon is far better than watchers will for sure. But stil think that charmed aura is left behind the initiative one from watcher. Depends on how often in the campaign creatures going to use charm. And in this case that the party is far away from each other only would be good at lvl 17 with 30 ft that this campaign wont get. At lvl 15 yes devotion is better than the watcher. So yeah is pretty close battle. Tough decision.
Thanks for all the input makes you think a lot hehe

Cgarciao said it best if you want a reason there it is. It's very debatable if you get alot of use out of it or not and as he said more books down to if your doing gritty realism or not.
I will go with oath of the watcer I understand that sacred weapon will come handy most of the times but ill try this this one and see how initiave will work.

agree that one im going for that and at lvl 8 i can max str or cha
my stats will be
18 str 18 con with resilent con and 18 cha
i have a 16 i can put on dex and 10 on wis and 6 on int.
With a 6 on INT your character gets an extra ""Flaw"" ( IYKWIM ), due to the percentage of ""forgetting"" things. With that ammount of INT it gonna add an extra dificulty when you try to remember anything, and it gonna add an extra dificulty on the Casting moment of your spells, so take care to get INT at 8 at least, or else your Pally gonna be a mess.
I know INT is a dumb stat but, if you wanna run a character with an INT lower than 8, then you have to prepare your mind to handle with THAT flaw. I suggest to anyone who desires to run a character ( if it's the 1st time ), to get an INT at 8, or if it's a wizard run the character with the most INT as posiible.
Some flaws comes at the cost of getting low stats.

but what you think i could put that 6??? in wisdom??instead of inteligence or in dex?
Mechanically, putting it in int will hurt the least. You’ll have a few bad skills, but mostly other people can make those rolls, and int saves almost never come up. Wis and dex saves happen a lot, and failing either really hurts (dominated/charmed or lots of damage)
But a 6 int means you’ll be the same int as your mount, so that will be fun. I agree it will be tough to play. But if you have a high wis, you could at least maybe realize you’re not very bright, and be willing to listen to other characters.

remember that i have the channel divinity that can give advantage for saving throws in charisma, int, and wisdom,
maybe i can put that 6 on wisdom . and 10 on int :/ or even put the 6 on dex???
Grogg had a 6 int in Critical role campaign 1. An 8 in stats is what is considered standard, average or basic. A 6 is right below that and is the lowest of an intelligent creature.
What about the Oath of ancients, resistance to all magic, that spreads around you and protects allies
ontop of that you can control enemies with ensnaring strike and the Channel divinity is pretty powerfull too, a 2nd snare basically, and or a repellant to fey and fiends
Interception as fight style to make sure that you can protect those allies close to you (protection feat is worse than interception IMO)
and 1st asi can be taken as a feat like sentinel so when people rush past you to get the squishies you can Bonk them
And take compelled duel, cure wounds shield of faith
and if you get in an icky situation yourself, you have mistystep available for yourself to quickly teleport, somewhere (and as far as I know, misty step doesnt provoke attack of opportunities)
