The biggest problem, imo, is by RAW, you need a 13 in str, dex and cha. And then throw in how everyone wants a good con, and you’re pretty MAD. Otherwise, I’d assume you go for a dex-based pally build with a rapier and light armor, so you can pile on smite and swashbuckler sneak attack, which would be pretty solid, damage-wise. So it should work fine, just leave you with a higher str than you’d otherwise need. And you’ll probably end up needing to put all your asi into score bumps of dex and cha, instead of feats. Maybe build with odd numbers so you can pick up half feats if you want those.
I love rogue paladin builds. Xalthu is correct the 13 str is the biggest downside to this and depending upon how your DM is allowing to build the character (rolling, point buy, standard array) this could be troublesome or not an issue. Nice thing though is you can still use a shield with a rapier and get your sneak attack and if you are soloing a mini boss stack a smite onto that hit, while still being durable.
What about an Oath of Vengeance paladin with a level or more in Rogue that uses Vow of Enmity to gain advantage on all their attacks, thus always enabling Sneak Attack on the first hit of each turn?
Edit: it’s not very strong — Vow of Enmity requires your Channel Divinity, and only lasts 1 minute.

It is pretty good, but I would look at a different Rogue subclass for this. I would probably go with either Assasin or Arcane Trickster.
The main problem with this mutliclass is you need a lot of Paladin levels to have a lot of Smites, but you need a lot of Rogue levels to get a good sneak attack. That is what makes AT attractive is you get more spell slots while also getting more sneak dice.

Thanks if I roll good enough I will definitely build this.
