"You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have resistance to damage from spells."
It's literally that simple. If a spell would do damage to someone within the Paladin's aura, they have resistance to that damage. It doesn't change their AC against a spell attack, or boost their saving throws against spells(though the Paladin's default Aura Of Protection WILL boost saving throws for allies within range), or anything else. It just provides resistance to the damage.
And yes, it's good. It's very, VERY good. It won't help against a dragon's breath, but it'll help against everything from Magic Missile up through Disintegrate, Finger Of Death, Meteor Swarm etc.

Its resistence from spells... so i assume it only cuts damage done by spells in half right?
Does it give magical advantage against spells? I assume not?
Is it any good? Or is it just weak?
