OK so get ready cause i have a few questions that i need good details on.
1. as have the dual wielder feat, it states that You can use two-weapon fighting even when the one-handed melee weapons you are wielding aren't light. i was told a lance is 1 handed. does that mean i can use 2 lances with my lvl 3 paladin? if not, why is that and is there a way around it?
2. wrathful smite is a concentration spell, which means if i use another concentration spell it cancels wrathful smite being active?
3. if i have thunderous smite active, does that mean every time i attack a creature, either the same or a new one, the first attack will push them back on a failed saving throw? or it only happens one time and the chances to do it again will end until i cast it again?
4 can i use wrathful smite and divine smite in the same attack? i know if i could, it would take 2 spell slots, but can i?
5 are spears and / or lances considered martial weapons? i should probably know that answer, but i want to be 100% sure.

A lance's special property makes it so that you can use it one-handed if and only if you're mounted at the time.
2. wrathful smite is a concentration spell, which means if i use another concentration spell it cancels wrathful smite being active?
Yes. That's what the concentration mechanic does.
3. if i have thunderous smite active, does that mean every time i attack a creature, either the same or a new one, the first attack will push them back on a failed saving throw? or it only happens one time and the chances to do it again will end until i cast it again?
Thunderous smite only does anything the first time you hit after casting it.

Yes.

Spears are simple weapons; lances are martial weapons. All weapons in this edition are either simple or martial.
ahh ok, thank you so much Matthias, this is a big help to me! just for discussion purposes, if you are purely looking for damage more then effects, is it really worth using thunderous smite for the 2d6 on damage, when you could just use divine smite on a target that you have hunter marked and, not break concentration?

You're Oath of Vengeance? That's 1d6[hunter's mark]+2d8[Divine Smite; 1st-level spell slot] and you keep the 1d6 for an hour or until you lose concentration. Yeah, it's almost always better.
