When I look at the Ranger class description on dndbeyond, there they all are, all these different archetypes to choose from- Gloomstalker, Horizon Walker, etc.
But when I go to build my ranger in the character builder, click on Ranger Archetypes at level 3 aaaaaaaand voila!!! Beast Master and Hunter are the only options.
What gives? Didn't they just have an update? Hasn't this material been around for so long considering it's in the official Class description? Where are these other Archetypes, and why are they making us reinvent the wheel with "Home-brews" for these things that have clearly been accepted as part of this world, or at least good enough to be included in the Class description? Am I missing something?? Where's the beef?
I wanna be a Ranger, and can't even track down this info. Should I just throw in the hooded cape and become a barman?
NICE ok thank you, I thought my Hero subscription got me access to all the sourcebooks, buuuuuuut yeah. Super green thumbs over here. Thank you, Strider!!!

You have to purchase Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
Apparently you have only purchased the Player's Handbook.
