Starting Level 6. Multiclassing 3 levels of ranger hunter and 3 levels of warlock raven queen pact of the blade. Elf Shadar-kai. I've got the spread score to multiclass easily high dex wis and cha and decent con. Using a long bow elven accuracy and sharpshooter as fast as i can. Running longbows since i prefer them over cross bows and not running hexblade because i didnt want to curse and hex things. Any thoughts? I know if I could optimize it better clearly just trying to stick to a same theme.
Thought you might not need con as high as you think. with lots of stealth options and range attacks you might not get hit as often as you think you will. especially if you take some enemy disadvantage options like darkness and devils sight. There are others setups too. I see so many encounters where the Ranged attacking ranger character never gets hit at all. Party composition might make the difference. I would prefer wisdom over con but that's just me.
I am curious about the hunter ranger choice as others may be better suited for a ranger warlock multi class. gloom stalker is very shadar-kai from my understanding. A phb beastmaster could get you regular access to poisons. (note many of the phb beasmaster bonus options scale with Prof so character level not class level) it would also work with some of the more ranger type invocations. But hunter is also a solid choice for Aoe type situations.

Depends on where they are, also. Forests, mountains, deserts, roads etc. ranged is fine, but in a dungeon there's a higher danger of something sneaking up behind you.

You may want to rethink hexblade... if only for the "Improved Pact-weapon" can be a magic +1 longbow. (I think it's restricted to hexblades).
