I love the ability to gain advantage along with expertise(or phb doubled prof). Kenku mimicry also can be very thematic for a ranger with a vast set of knowledge. Half the battle of tricky behavior is knowing what is believable. Getting the right sound for the situation seems very ranger like to me for decent synergies.
I am not as familiar with the wildmount book/critical role lore as other settings but I don't remember any setting stuff that would make either ranger or kenku feel limited.
Community, wondering what you think about a Kenku ranger in Wildemount (optimized for archery).
I’m interested in mechanics (including bonus skill proficiencies) as well as flavor the Kenku brings to the class.
I'm torn between a ranger and a Samurai Fighter (archer). Not sure what the best options are.
I enjoy playing kenku and rangers.
