Aragon is defiantly one of mine but the other one who always catches my eye is Hawkeye in Last of The Mohicans. The movie scene at the begining where he, his father, and brother are racing through the woods tracking their prey while moving swiftly and silently. Hawkeye sees the prey fires his musket and gets the kill. Epic and sweeping. Later when he fights his enemy with a knife and tomahawk two weapon style brings more of a rangers style to light.
We can always reference Drizzt, Tanis Half-Elven from Dragonlance and nowadays Vex from Critical Role. But one of the coolest Rangers who heavily inspired me is the dwarf Harsk from Parhfinder, he is really cool.
Outside the RPG world, very few references come to my mind, I was thinking about Subotai from Conan the Barbarian, the two hunters from the Clash of the Titans 2010 remake and Tristan (played by Mads Mikkelsen) from King Arthur 2004 movie.

These are great. I forgot about Harsk. All of these are inspiring to the most inspirational class.
There was an older thread on this topic. I will look it up if I can.
The Rangers apprentice series is a children's series that mostly holds up into adults.
While not typical of fantasy, my side of the mountain is also decent.
There are several mixed archetypes in fantasy as well. Ranger-mages or ranger-assassins. While not full recommendations due to potentially problematic or content issues, sword of truth, Shadow and bone, wheel of time and more all have at least partially ranger plots. There are alot that's why ranger is popular to explore but varied opinions on how much the mechanics should support survival, combat, magic ect.
There aren’t a lot of rangers in fantasy literature and most of the ones that exist are, like Aragorn and Driz’zt, best represented by multiclass characters not full on rangers. I’ve found several effective rangers in westerns where the lone wolf nature savvy hero is a very solid trope. Try William Johnstone’s preacher and last mountainman series or some of Louis lamore’s novels like Jubal Sacket.
halt or will or gilan or crowley from the ranger’s apprentice, fun fact one of the characters ,bennigan or something, is an ex-ranger wounded in his leg that became some kind of harper-like spy that helped the rangers
Robin Hood, Tarzan, Crocodile Dundee, Hank from the original DND cartoon, Tonto and the Lone Ranger from the Lone Ranger.
Robinhood (at least in Sherwood Forest) yes, Tarzan - yes, Dundee - yes, Hank I don’t know, Tonto - yes, The Lone Ranger - no, he needed Tonto for that. Others - the original Phantom, Jim Bridger, jedidiah Smith, John Colter, Kit Carson, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Hugh Glass, Osborne Russell, Liver Eating Johnson.

How did I miss Boone and Crocket? Good call!

There is the phantom who came out around 1936.

I'd consider Jon Snow to be a beast master ranger. His uncle Benjin would be more of a gloomstalker.
Some of these aren't from books but:
Robin Hood, Tarzan, Crocodile Dundee, Hank from the original DND cartoon, Tonto and the Lone Ranger from the Lone Ranger.
Food, Scifi/fantasy, anime, DND 5E and OSR geek.
Nice list!
