On the character builder, the ranger gets something called slayer's prey, which is very similar to the hunter's mark spell, except that it has a range of 60ft instead of 90ft. It came with the monster hunter archetype.
So, here's the question. If you use slayer's prey first will it be intact if you cast hunter's mark which is a concentration spell?

Slayers prey doesn't require concentration so it doesn't matter which you use first; it won't break concentration on hunters mark.
And there is nothing that says you can't do both simultaneously. Okay. Good to know.
