So I'm looking to work with the revised beast master and came to terms with them not planning on adding it even as playtest material.. and although the builder allows you to add companions/creatures and it allows you to edit and customize things like size, alignment, AC and HP, is there any way to modify the stats, saving throws, proficiency, etc (like the revised beast master allows on level up).
At best, I am only able to add in the notes: Wis +1, prof + 2, (etc) for my own knowledge and reminder.
The only alternative to adding notes would be to homebrew create your own monster... but to remake it every 4 levels ONLY for a stat boost I think is way too unnecessary.
If it's not currently available and we can get @filcat or @stormknight to bring this up as another 'To Do' for the devs I think it would be great and since they already allow customization, I don't think it would be too complicated to add a few more options
No, there are no modifiers for adjusting some of the companion's stats. The devs already know about it, and it prevents some official classes from working properly.
It is not a simple fix either. Basically, in order to fix this, they need to change the way the site stores monster data and make each of its actions entered separately.
Not specifically, but I would be surprised if fixing monster storage wasn't part of the monster builder update. Modifiers for monsters may not be added until homebrew revamp though.
For work around, you either need to do your math manually each time, or make a custom companion like you said.

Do you know if it's in their road map? and if there is any work around other than homebrewing a new companion at every level?
