I've made a ranger to play a few sessions in the adventure 'Against the Giants' from Tales of the Yawning Portal. I used the Revised Ranger because my DM let me, and based the entire build off of Jack. from Jack and the Beanstalk, so naturally the character's name is Jack the Giant-killer. He is strength based, but still has good Dex and Wisdom, and he specializes in using a battleaxe. Obviously, his Greater Favored Enemy is Giants and I went Humanoids (Orcs and Goblins) for his Favored Enemy just because my DM said that the adventure featured a few orcs. I just want some extra opinions on this. Do you guys think it's a viable build mechanically wise, and do you think it seems cool roleplay wise?

I would say go hunter, then pick up the giant killer at level 3. That, or colossus slayer.
