So I recently mutliclassed into Ranger and chose undead as FE. I should be allowed to learn a language spoken by my favored enemy. Can I pick up Chultan? The adventure is happening in Chult and I figure there must be some Vampires or liches or such that speak Chultan.
I created a cleric not long ago and I told the DM he should speak a language analogous to Latin. We decided this would be Ancient Silvesti Elvish, a language that in his world was used to discuss the earliest relationships with the spirits. I would recommend that you and the DM come up with a similar lore language for the undead; something inspired be devils or demons.

Would you allow this as a DM?
I mean, chultan is not a language. It's essentially common. Picking any language is what it lets you do.
