Okay um...... 18 rogue/2 barb. Rogue has an ability, Elusive which does that no attack has advantage against you, and combined with Reckless Attack that gives you advantage on your next attack roll, then um.... infinite advantage on your first attack roll at all times
This would give you a whoppin' 9d6 extra damage (Sneak Attack) and adv on every single attack. Add in Crossbow Expert for another attack, and Asassin for that sweet auto-crit when surprising. Now, you got yourself a killer machine
Starting at 2nd level, you can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.
You can however get a bonus action attack from two weapon fighting or taking the Scout/Soulknife subclass.

Well technically if you are a Scout you can get sneak attack on your bonus action attack as well, it just has to be against a different target.
No, your bonus action is on your turn and the limitation for sneak attack is "Once per turn".
I am talking about the level 17 Scout ability
Sudden Strike
Starting at 17th level, you can strike with deadly speed. If you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as a bonus action. This attack can benefit from your Sneak Attack even if you have already used it this turn, but you can't use your Sneak Attack against the same target more than once in a turn.
Also note that reckless attack only works with strength attack rolls. So you need to use a finesse weapon (for sneak attack) with strength not dexterity.

You absolutely can. Something you didn't mention but I think is cool, Evasion and danger sense. Danger sense gives you advantage on dex saves and evasion makes it so you take no damage on a success.
-thrown daggers can use strength and still use Reckless Attack -You don't have to rage to use Reckless Attack (so stupid AC with the shield spell and access to Booming blade with the Arcane Trickster is possible) -Reckless Attack works with Booming Blade -and Booming Blade + Reckless attack works well with Cunning Action Disengage to move 5ft back and taunt your enemy
-thrown daggers can use strength and still use Reckless Attack
Reckless Attack only grants advantage on melee attacks

Active characters:
Askatu, hyperfocused vedalken freedom fighter in Wildspace (Zealot barb/Swashbuckler rogue/Battle Master fighter) Green Hill Sunrise, jaded tabaxi mercenary trapped in the Dark Domains (Battle Master fighter) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
It works for melee weapon attacks. Throwing a weapon with the thrown property doesn't turn it into a ranged weapon, it is still a melee weapon attack even if it is also a ranged attack.
But a reasonable person can say it should just convert it into a ranged weapon attack. Just a place where all the wonkiness of attack definitions muddle things.
Samrai fighter and get advantage on all attacks a round. I know it is for limited amount, but it just costs a bonus action and does not give others advantage when attacking you like reckless attack does.

However, as mentioned, the whole thing of Reckless Attack though, is it combos with "elusive": Beginning at 18th level, you are so evasive that attackers rarely gain the upper hand against you. No Attack roll has advantage against you while you aren't incapacitated.
Where for the Samurai thing you have to go 3 levels into fighter, vs only 2 levels into Barbarian. And, you miss out on being "elusive" all the time: 100% of the time, prone, from invisible, etc. Long as you aren't incapacitated

Is this RAW?
Yes it works. And its not just your first attack roll, its advantage to all your attacks for your turn including attacks made with your bonus action.
This would give you a whoppin' 9d6 extra damage (Sneak Attack) and adv on every single attack. Add in Crossbow Expert for another attack, and Asassin for that sweet auto-crit when surprising. Now, you got yourself a killer machine
Nope sorry you need to do melee attacks because
Reckless Attack

yeah, dualwield daggers then
I may have misunderstood: it kinda looks like you think you’ll get it on every attack with this combo but sneak attack is once per turn only.

Oops, my bad, i forgot
You could make the rogue Strength-based

At 18th level Rogue you have 9d6 as your sneak attack. 20th is 10d6
Sounds broken but fun 🤩
Im playing this build. Some fun side notes:
-thrown daggers can use strength and still use Reckless Attack
-You don't have to rage to use Reckless Attack (so stupid AC with the shield spell and access to Booming blade with the Arcane Trickster is possible)
-Reckless Attack works with Booming Blade
