I'm multiclassing in Assassin Rogue and dipping warlock currently 3/2 but aiming to finish 15/5 or 12/8. In reviewing every way I could possibly max out my character I was on the search for how to repetitively both cast my eldritch blast and make a mele attack to get my sneak attack damage in the same turn. Initially, I checked Crossbow feat, with no luck, then looked into Quicktoss from battle mastery and Quicken metamagic, but those are only once per long rest. I finally got to the Haste spell. From what I can see, if I can get a magic item or have a party member give me haste as a 15/5 Roguelock, I could (for 10 consecutive rounds) EB for 4d10+(4*Cha) and then immediately throw a dagger for 1d4+8d6+dex. Aka if I have +5Cha and +4Dex and this is a surprise round for the Assassin autocrit, I could deal:
8d10+(20)+2d4+16d6+4 = AVG 116 dmg for suprise round and crits and AVG 70 dmg non crit? And still have my bonus action to hide/dash/disengage? Or would they no longer be suprised since I already hit with the EB?
I know this is extremely situational and unlikely in hitting all EBs and the dagger throw but it just seems like fun and I wanted to make sure it was feasible before trying to build to it.
A Haste-free build would be 6 levels Bladesinger Wizard 1 level Hexblade Warlock and rest into Rogue (I suggest Swashbuckler). And instead of throwing a dagger I would just fire off a hand crossbow, this gives you an additional Bonus Action attack as well if you took the Crossbow Expert feat.
One level in hex blade warlock doesnt get you the invocations for adding CHA to damage. Unless you took it as a feat. And that drops the Rogues sneak attack down to 6d6. It also just seems thematically more difficult to organically pull off all the different classes but thats just personal preference. But you're right on the hand crossbow. I just didn't think the additional 1d6 damage from the extra attack would be worth it compared to everything else a roguelock can do with bonus actions. It might be worth it if I got enough sorcery points to quicken another eldritch blast, add on another 40-60 AVG damage?

I assumed we were theory crafting level 20 builds in which case a 6 Wizard 13 Rogue 1 Warlock multi would give you 5 ASIs. Using 2 to max CHA still leaves you with 3 to take Crossbow Expert, Eldritch Adept and whatever else you may fancy (possibly Quicken Metamagic). Also you do not need to use a hand crossbow at all, feel free to use whatever melee weapon you prefer. Crossbow Expert is only there for you to fire Eldritch Blasts at point blank range without suffering disadvantage. If you choose to use a hand crossbow is just a little extra bonus.
Damage wise a 15/5 RogueLock only does an extra 1d6 Sneak Attack but requires somebody to Haste you. Another drawback is if you get hit with a Dispel Magic or the Haste caster loses concentration will result in you losing a turn.
