Character in question is going to 8th level Arcane Trickster. Gnome. already 18 Dex, 15 Int, 14 Con. 2nd level spells are Shadow Blade & Mirror Image and while I usually attack from range, with those I can get into melee more often and land those sneak attacks.
Here's my thoughts:
Mobile. Obviously good choice. Would allow me to move in & out of melee more frequently.
Fade Away. So this gives the half-ASI for Int which would bump me to 16 which would help with spell attacks & saves on Hideous Laughter. Useful for getting out of trouble but overlaps with Uncanny Dodge too much maybe. Possibly useful for times I get hit with an attack I can't see if that ever happens.
Resilient Con. Unfortunately a +1 on Con doesn't do anything for me at this level. If I took it I could possibly bump both Int & Con with my 10th level ASI. But very helpful for maintaining concentration on Shadow Blade if I'm in melee. Also everyone loves another save proficiency.
Squat Nimbleness. Unfortunately I already have Acrobatics & Athletics proficiency so this would be mostly a waste. Mobile would be a lot better.
Basically my issue is that Fade Away seems fun but I'm not sure it's mechanically that helpful and gives me too many reaction options versus some ability that would get used more often.
