Hallo, i play a swashbukling rogue in a campaign that is heavy on dungeon crawls (TotYP) at lvl 8 i would have 7 20 14 12 16 11 stats. Including Elven Accuracy and Weapon Master (Mariner Fighting style). Now since my charisma is kind of lacking i don't realy plan on persuating the rogue class after 8 and was looking for some usefull multiclass dips.
Wich one would you sugest, takeing the nature of our campaign into account?
Just because you have a low charisma doesn't mean you can't take more levels in rogue. Your panache might not be great, but that doesn't mean your sneak attack is bad. Every odd level gives you another sneak attack dice and that alone is worth continuing with rogue. You also get plenty of other features along the way.
If you really want to multiclass, fighter with battle master subclass is a great option. There are some good mechanics that fit well with the swashbuckler. If you were to take rogue 9 and fighter all the way to 20, you'd have 3 attacks, and 5 sneak attack dice. Riposte is nice maneuver with the swashbuckler. If someone is attacking you already and you they miss, you can use your reaction and a superiority dice to make an attack against the target. That would still almost certainly get sneak attack damage. You also get a lot of ASIs as a fighter and you could definitely up that charisma if you wanted. Panache can be helpful if your squishy back line is getting attacked. Use the action to panache, if they miss you can Riposte. If they hit, you can use uncanny dodge to halve the damage. You could also take sentinel that would give you another way to get sneak attack damage. If an enemy attacks a friend near you, you can use your reaction to attack them with sneak attack damage. This is the way I'd go if I really wanted to multiclass.
