Thanks for confirming Crzy. I just looked it up and you can indeed purchase just the Swashbuckler subclass alone from the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide for $1.99 here on DnDBeyond.
Okay follow up question. I have purchased said subclass, I'm prepared to buckle swashes, but I can't figure out how to actually add it. My existing character is classed as a rogue/warlock. Do I have to make the rogue go away, and then add it?

I'm confused, mates.
You need to reach level 3 with your Rogue and then on the "Class" tab it's going to ask for your Rogue Archetype. Select the Swashbuckler there.

I've never encountered a forum where I got this many "talking to a wall" impressions as this one...
I bought swashbuckler, but it's not showing up under archetypes, and when I check my orders it says it's a monster? I don't see it as a purchasable option under XGtE and got it from another book. Did I buy the wrong thing, and does anyone one have the page I can buy the proper thing from if I did?

I think you bought the swashbuckler monster, not the sub class. I think this is the link you need to purchase the swashbuckler subclass
I currently want to make a swashbuckler rogue, but I cant see it in the subclasses I can have, do I have to buy something for this?
Yes, this sub-class is under SCAG book.
Swashbuckler was originally in SCAG, so look there before looking in XGE.
Keep in mind that you can often buy sections or individual bits of content from DnD books available here on DnD Beyond.
You may very well be able to buy just the Swashbuckler class by itself for a couple of $, instead of a while book!

You buy the subclass from the original book it appeared in.

I checked on Xanthar's guide to everything, but it isn't there, all I see is scout and inquisitive

Scroll down to sub-classes, and purchase Swashbuckler for 2 of your earth dollars.
You will then be able to buckle ALL of the swashes.
