This is a topic i've searched on googled but couldn't get a straight answer. So elemental affinity adds my CHA modifier to the element of my Sorcerous Origin (Dragon Ancestor). But also the character is a Dragonborn (Draconblood) and even if i don't have resistance from the base Dragonborn race feature, i always have a Draconic Ancestry from the Dragonborn race.
So the question is, Elemental affinity would work also on the Draconic Ancestry (Dragonborn race feature) or only to the Sorcerous Origin (Dragon Ancestor)? Because even if the "name" of the race-class feature is almost the same, the description is also almost the same...So there is an official answer on this or is up to the DM?
Only your sorcerer origin. Powers only do what they say they do. In this case, it says it applies to your origin, so that’s what it does, nothing more.
